As with many animal species, male fancy guppies are more beautiful than the female guppies lust. Men come in a variety of bright colors like red, gold, black, blue and green while the females have gray or beige tilt. These fish aquariums appear more beautiful when you swim to several of them together.

Fancy Guppies Aquarium as hottest. You need to keep your temperature 78-82 degrees Celsius, and you should consider a tablespoon aquarium salt per 5 gallons of water into the tank. Most livebearers Guppies fair better with salt added.

While Fancy Guppies can survive only on floating flake food and freeze-dried mud, they are stronger and more resistant when fed frozen brine shrimp or black worms from time to time.

If you want to put guppies in your aquarium, you should hold on to the females twice as much as men fancy guppies. You can use other fish that are compatible, including the small Tetras (Neons), Honey Gourami, Cory Catfish, Glass Fish, frogs and shrimp Ghost.

Many stores are trying to sell Mollies and Guppies together, but most large Mollies will attack Guppies and are not really compatible in an aquarium together.

You do not want to keep platies and swordtails in a tank with fancy guppies, either. You have not commented. Guppies should be placed in aquariums with smaller tank mates.

Fancy guppies have a short life span of about three years. Males grow up to 2 “, and the females grow a little more on an average of 2.5″ long. Sometimes Fancy Guppies have a lifetime of outstanding aquarium care, and there are even cases in which the fish become larger than average size.

An aquarium is a very small ecosystem. Those who survive their fish and plants will need to live and prosper regardless of the environment, animals and plants in nature. The right kind of light and the balance of the day and night lighting is crucial for the ecosystem health of your child. Freshwater tanks are lighter than salt water aquarium light. Tank size and type of fish and aquatic plants play a role in choosing the right lighting options.

The light bulb

Incandescent light is not a good choice for aquariums. These lamps do not light in the UV or blue-and red-yellow spectrum light encourages the growth of undesirable algae. The ratio or heat in the light of the bulbs is higher than for the lighting decisions. In general, light bulb works best in terrariums reptiles, whose house in aquariums.

Fluorescent

Fluorescent lights, fluorescent blubs are very compact, the best choice for most aquariums. They emit a high intensity light, which contains most of the colors of the spectrum. They emit no UV or blue light, but if it is a problem they can be used with actinic light produce light in the range of blue and UV. Fluorescent blubs produce much less heat and emit more light per watt than incandescent bulbs.

When choosing blubs many people are in watts per cubic meter tank. It is important to remember that Watt used to relate the amount of current through the lamp. Light is measured in lumens. Fluorescent tubes emit more lumens with less power than incandescent bulbs.

Night lighting

It is proposed that the low power LED light for at least 12 hours per day are used to simulate the normal day and night cycle. Most fish live close enough to the surface area is lit by the sun and the moon. For those who want their fish to spawn, it is preferable to simulate the cycles of the moon, because the reproduction of many species is governed by the lunar cycles.

Metal halite lighting

Metal halite lamps emit part of the spectrum. They are most often used in large tanks of salt water. These lamps are expensive and they emit a large amount of heat. You should can with a lid and prolonged exposure to the light of their cause sunburn in humans can be used. Not only do these lights can cause severe burns on contact, weaken the oils in the skin of the bulb. Metal halite lamps have a very specific applications and are not necessary for most aquariums.

Field staff in shops, can sell the fish to advise customers on the right lighting for your particular tank. There are many online resources that provide information about the type of environment, catering for the different types of fish and aquatic plants. Before deciding on lighting for an aquarium, it is advisable to take the time to the special features of the ecosystem that is new research.

Saltwater aquarium experience creep of salt, there is no way past. You may find that it is best to not miss out on the salt out of control. Salt creep can quickly become tedious to clean when you release it. Salt is to build on the hardware key, and can hinder the efficiency. Salt is to build on the heater. Salt to accumulate in the skimmer. Salt will creep into your aquarium hood and lighting systems to accumulate. I could go on but you get the idea.

Carpet destruction

Salt will fall into the carpet, if you have carpet in your tank nearby. The salt is hard to clean the carpet when it is at the point where they accumulate a thick crust. Ugh. This is especially a risk if it sinks or leaks from the tank or equipment of the tank.

Dripping and the leak is a bad thing

Keep an eye on the area behind and around the base of the tank to ensure that you are no drainage problems. You can leaking equipment or lines or leaks in a manner that we have aroused your interest immediately. You want to make sure that you do not miss any leaks consistently over a longer period for any type of aquarium when your tank is freshwater or saltwater.

The discharge of salt water has a more gentle cleaning of spills, at least in my experience. Salt water has salt in it, of course, and it is not good for carpets and other peripherals in the vicinity of your aquarium.

Damage to your tank and its surroundings

Salt creep can damage many components that are used in or around your aquarium. The salt can be corrosive and dangerous if you leave out of control.

Salt takes the lines in some cases. Sometimes salt harm wood surfaces, carpets, paints and varnishes.

A negative effect on the aquarium light

The aquarium salt could collect light bulbs and depending on how the lighting of protected water. If salt layers begins with the gathering light bulbs, they are not as effective in the lighting in your aquarium.

The accumulation of salt and is also not good on your acrylic or glass tank tops. This type of salt accumulation have the same negative effect on the lighting. Transparent lid should be cleaned regularly, if it has accumulated a lot of salt on the surface.

Just Do It, Clean Up the Salt Creep often

Take a few minutes to clean your aquarium and remove salt creep every couple weeks or more frequently if required. This type of cleaning work may sometimes seem trivial, but it’s much easier to clean the salt creep before it begins to think in a crust or fall to the ground accumulates. Your aquarium is much more presentable as well!

Luke Petterson has been maintaining a saltwater aquarium for a few years ago and had some pretty good experiences and bad ones. The maintenance of an aquarium requires patience and discipline, but it’s not bad if you do your research. Aquarium keeping is a very rewarding experience.

Are saltwater aquariums come in many different shapes and sizes. The number of fish that can hold depends on the size of the tank you buy. Fish need oxygen and plenty of room to swim to breathe, and both mean that they need much water. When deciding where to place your new aquarium, you need a place near a power outlet and is not too far from a water source. It’s a good idea to have a place, a spill-resistant to tolerate the water just in case cracks or leaks in the tank to choose from. Of course this is something you do not want to happen, but it is better to take precautions in case.

Some people think that you could buy fish bowls and put them in salt water aquariums. You can not! Fish bowls are inhumane, even if you do the house a goldfish. They contain unfiltered water that is not adequately ventilated and not a good home for fish, much less beautiful tropical countries.

Some people believe that you should not put salt water aquarium in the kitchen or living room. But it’s better than if the fish in an area that few visitors. Fish are social beings and welcome to see different people around. This does not mean you should encourage people to the glass of tap water tanks or worse their fingers stuck in the water. Fish deserve respect and scare them or contaminate their habitat is not correct.

Treat your new fish with care and attention, and they thrive. If you believe that your fish are sick, consult a doctor because chances are you will be correct. You get to know them and will soon see if they behave out of character. This is often the first sign of illness.

Saltwater aquariums require special attention in view of the nature and power of lighting you choose. The spectrum (distribution) of light is also an important consideration. It is your responsibility to investigate and to find a bulb that the conditions for plant and animal species that you buy meets. This article will introduce you to four popular methods of lighting.

Fluorescent lamps, with the full spectrum, is a wonderful choice. Both the quality and cost-wise-as is the selection of really first class. Fluorescent lamps have a pretty decent life span of about two years. Spectral light to change, and the depreciation is easy to adjust, while VHO lighting or high efficiency is optimal for reef aquariums or aquarium densely planted. However, the ballasts for these lamps are quite expensive.

Incandescent lamps have a long life and tend to generate a little heat. That makes a bit of unpredictability in terms of how this additional heat will affect the environment of your aquarium. Although they are relatively inexpensive to purchase, consume much energy and they will influence the cost of your electricity bill.

Power compact lighting is gaining popularity with collectors live plants and reef, as the light source has a high yield. Square or linear arrangement are your options, and there is always a good idea to have earned a replacement. They are easy to install, but be careful not to exceed the performance limits.

Metal halide bulbs have many positive aspects, but unfortunately they have a lot of produce ultraviolent radiation. The solution is a filter for ultraviolet radiation have been developed.

When testing a method of lighting for your saltwater aquarium, your first consideration should always be the health and well being of the species in your aquarium. There’s no real point to be with a beautiful light, at the expense of the welfare of the people, the result is certainly a beautifully lighted aquarium full of sick or dead plants and fish!

As a final note, do not try to keep your aquarium light for too long, no matter what kind of light you choose. If you keep the lights in the tank 24 / 7, you will begin to accumulate a large amount of unwanted algae growth.

If you already filed an undesirable amount and keep the aquarium light on the less frequently and change the water (about 25 percent of it) a few times a week to fix the problem. You can also fish that feed on algae, such as catfish (Ancistrus and Otocinlus Peckoltia in particular), and fish Plec Crossocheilus siamensis (large tanks only as they grow a lot).
